Related Product Information for anti-GNAT1 antibody
Transducin is a 3-subunit guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein) which stimulates the coupling of rhodopsin and cGMP-phoshodiesterase during visual impulses. The transducin alpha subunits in rods and cones are encoded by separate genes. This gene encodes the alpha subunit in rods. This gene is also expressed in other cells, and has been implicated in bitter taste transduction in rat taste cells. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal dominant congenital stationary night blindness. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.GNAT1 (G Protein Subunit Alpha Transducin 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with GNAT1 include Night Blindness, Congenital Stationary, Autosomal Dominant 3 and Night Blindness, Congenital Stationary, Type 1G. Among its related pathways are Phospholipase-C Pathway and Phototransduction. GO annotations related to this gene include GTP binding and GTPase activity. An important paralog of this gene is GNAT2.

Product Notes
The GNAT1 gnat1 (Catalog #AAA176017) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GNAT1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GNAT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GNAT1 gnat1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GNAT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
