Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse HMGA2/HMGI-C Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HMGA2/HMGI-C antibody
HMGA2/HMGI-C antibody (pAb)
WB (Western Blot)
(HMGA2 / HMGI-C antibody (pAb) tested by Western blot. Detection of HMGA2 / HMGI-C by Western blot. Nuclear extract (25 ug) of mouse ES cells probed with HMGI-C / HMGA2 antibody at a dilution of 1:3,000.)
WB (Western Blot)
(HMGA2 / HMGI-C antibody (pAb) tested by Immunoprecipitation. 10 ul of HMGA2 / HMGI-C antibody was used to immunoprecipitate HMGA2 / HMGI-C from 250 ug of HepG2 nuclear cell extract (lane 2). 10 ul of rabbit IgG was used as a negative control (lane 1). The immunoprecipitated protein was detected by Western blotting using the HMGA2 / HMGI-C antibody at a dilution of 1:3,000.)
Background: HMGA2 (High-mobility group AT-hook protein 2, HMGI-C) is a member of the HMG (High mobility group) protein family, which are non-histone chromatin-associated proteins involved in DNA organization and regulation of transcription. The HMG protein family consists of six proteins and is subdivided into three subfamilies: the HMG-1/-2 subfamily, the HMG-I/Y subfamily and the HMG-14/-17 subfamily. Mouse models of HMGA2 function indicate that it is involved in proliferation at the cellular level and obesity at the organismal level. Overexpression of HMGA2 is observed in a variety of cancers.

Product Notes
The HMGA2/HMGI-C hmga2 (Catalog #AAA59969) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HMGA2/HMGI-C antibody (pAb) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HMGA2/HMGI-C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IP (Immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HMGA2/HMGI-C hmga2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HMGA2/HMGI-C, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
