Related Product Information for anti-JNK1/2/3 antibody
JNK belongs to MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. JNK is activated by various cell stimuli, and targets specific transcription factors, and thus mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to cell stimuli. The activation of this kinase by tumor-necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is found to be required for TNF-alpha induced apoptosis. This kinase is also involved in UV radiation induced apoptosis, which is thought to be related to cytochrom c-mediated cell death pathway. Studies of the mouse counterpart of this geneuggested that this kinase play a key role in T cell proliferation, apoptosis and differentiation.JNK is expressed as ten different isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing. The predominant forms are JNK1,JNK2,and JNK3

Product Notes

The JNK1/2/3 mapk8 (Catalog #AAA179544) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The JNK1/2/3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's JNK1/2/3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IP (Immunoprecipitation), IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JNK1/2/3 mapk8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JNK1/2/3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
