Ku80 rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from the lab is produced in-house. It detects hamster, human, mouse, and rat Ku80 and is antigen affinity purified. It is great for use in WB.
Telomere length maintenance, an activity essential for chromosome stability and genome integrity, is regulated by telomerase- and telomere-associated factors. The DNA repair protein Ku (a heterodimer of Ku70 and Ku80 subunits) associates with mammalian telomeres and contributes to telomere maintenance. The Ku heterodimer functions at two kinds of DNA ends: telomeres and double-strand breaks. The role that Ku plays at these two classes of termini must be distinct, because Ku is required for accurate and efficient joining of double-strand breaks while similar DNA repair events are normally prohibited at chromosome ends

Product Notes
The XRCC5 xrcc5 (Catalog #AAA72770) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Ku80 Antibody reacts with Hamster, Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ku80 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the XRCC5 xrcc5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ku80, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
