Immunogen
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human Leupaxin (115-129aa KKHLPDKQDHKASLD), different from the related rat sequence by two amino acids, and from the related mouse sequence by three amino acids.
Contents
Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
Reconstitution
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Preparation and Storage
At -20 degree C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 degree C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Related Product Information for anti-LPXN antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Leupaxin(LPXN) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P in Human, Mouse, Rat.
Background: Leupaxin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LPXN gene. This gene is mapped to 11q12.1. The product encoded by this gene is preferentially expressed in hematopoietic cells and belongs to the paxillin protein family. Similar to other members of this focal-adhesion-associated adaptor-protein family, it has four leucine-rich LD-motifs in the N-terminus and four LIM domains in the C-terminus. It may function in cell type-specific signaling by associating with PYK2, a member of focal adhesion kinase family. As a substrate for a tyrosine kinase in lymphoid cells, this protein may also function in, and be regulated by, tyrosine kinase activity.

Product Notes
The LPXN lpxn (Catalog #AAA45698) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Leupaxin antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Leupaxin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LPXN lpxn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Leupaxin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
