Form/Format
Purified
Purified IgG - lyophilised
Purified IgG - lyophilised
Concentration
IgG concentration 1.0 mg/ml after reconstitution. (varies by lot)
Sequence Length
148
Applicable Applications for anti-MCP-1 antibody
WB (Western Blot), FA (Functional Assay), ELISA
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. AAA Biotech recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. N.B. For functional studies do not add sodium azide
Immunogen
Recombinant rat MCP-1 (PRP17)
Buffer Solution
Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to rat MCP-1 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species
Rat
Preparation and Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. Following reconstitution store at -20 degree C. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.

Product Notes
The MCP-1 ccl2 (Catalog #AAA49906) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MCP-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), FA (Functional Assay), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MCP-1 ccl2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MCP-1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
