Biological Significance
Myelin protein zero is a glycoprotein associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and Dejerine-Sottas disease. Myelin protein-zero is the major structural protein of peripheral myelin.
Immunogen
Myelin protein zero antibody was raised in Chicken using two synthetic peptide (Human NP_000521 and Mouse NP_032649) / keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) conjugates corresponding to different regions of the protein zero gene product as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Protect from light.
