Related Product Information for anti-NDUFA2 antibody
NDUFA2 (NADH: Ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Subunit A2) is a Protein Coding gene. The NDUFA2 gene, located on 5q31.3, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, and rat, etc. NDUFA2 belongs to the complex I NDUFA2 subunit family. The encoded protein is a subunit of the hydrophobic protein fraction of the NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex 1), the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain located in the inner mitochondrial membrane, and may be involved in regulating complex I activity or its assembly via assistance in redox processes. Diseases associated with NDUFA2 include Mitochondrial Complex I Deficiency, Nuclear Type 13 and Leukoencephalopathy, Cystic, Without Megalencephaly. Among its related pathways are GABAergic synapse and Respiratory electron transport, ATP synthesis by chemiosmotic coupling, and heat production by uncoupling proteins.

Product Notes

The NDUFA2 (Catalog #AAA256457) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NDUFA2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NDUFA2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NDUFA2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NDUFA2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
