Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 degree C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

WB (Western Blot)

(Figure 1. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.Lane 1: human HCCT tissue lysates,Lane 2: rat liver tissue lysates,Lane 3: rat kidney tissue lysates,Lane 4: mouse liver tissue lysates,Lane 5: mouse kidney tissue lysates.After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane at 150 mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% non-fat milk/TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-OAT2/SLC22A7 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (#AAA126421) at 0.5 ug/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000 for 1.5 hour at RT. Solute carrier family 22 member 7, also called SLC22A7 or OAT2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC22A7 gene. This gene is mapped to 6p21.1. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the sodium-independent transport and excretion of organic anions, some of which are potentially toxic. The encoded protein is an integral membrane protein and appears to be localized to the basolateral membrane of the kidney. This gene transports prostaglandin E2, prostaglandin F2, tetracycline, bumetanide, estrone sulfate, glutarate, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate, allopurinol, 5-fluorouracil, paclitaxel, L-ascorbic acid, salicylate, ethotrexate, and alpha-ketoglutarate.
