Related Product Information for anti-DOK2 antibody
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is constitutively tyrosine phosphorylated in hematopoietic progenitors isolated from chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients in the chronic phase. It may be a critical substrate for p210(bcr/abl), a chimeric protein whose presence is associated with CML.
Function: DOK proteins are enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding proteins. They provide a docking platform for the assembly of multimolecular signaling complexes. DOK2 may modulate the cellular proliferation induced by IL-4, as well as IL-2 and IL-3. May be involved in modulating Bcr-Abl signaling. Attenuates EGF-stimulated MAP kinase activation (By similarity).
Subunit Structure: Interacts with phosphorylated RASGAP and EGFR. Interacts with RET and NCK. Interacts (via PH domain) with TEK/TIE2 (tyrosine phosphorylated) (By similarity).
Post-translational Modifications: On immunoreceptor stimulation, phosphorylated on C-terminal tyrosine residues. Phosphorylation on Tyr-345 is required for binding to the SH2 domain of NCK. Phosphorylation on both Tyr-271 and Tyr-299 is required for interaction with RASGAP. Phosphorylated on tyrosine residues by TEK/TIE2 (By similarity).
Similarity: PTB domain mediates receptor interaction. Belongs to the DOK family. Type A subfamily.

Product Notes
The DOK2 dok2 (Catalog #AAA321434) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-p56 Dok-2 (Tyr299) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's p56 Dok-2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DOK2 dok2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "p56 Dok-2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
