Target Description: Sulfation is a common modification of endogenous (lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates) and exogenous (xenobiotics and drugs) compounds. In mammals, the sulfate source is 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS), created from ATP and inorganic sulfate. Two different tissue isoforms encoded by different genes synthesize PAPS. PAPSS2 is one of the two PAPS synthetases. Defects in this gene cause the Pakistani type of spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been described for this gene.Sulfation is a common modification of endogenous (lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates) and exogenous (xenobiotics and drugs) compounds. The PAPSS2 antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PAPSS2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PAPSS2 papss2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: PARHNEFDFI SGTRMRKLAR EGENPPDGFM APKAWKVLTD YYRSLEKN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PAPSS2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
