Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for PLD2 detection. Tested with WB, ICC/IF, FCM, Direct ELISA in Human; Mouse; Rat.
Background: Phospholipase D2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PLD2 gene. It is mapped to 17p13.2. The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine to phosphatidic acid and choline. The activity of the encoded enzyme is enhanced by phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and ADP-ribosylation factor-1. This protein localizes to the peripheral membrane and may be involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell cycle control, transcriptional regulation, and/or regulated secretion. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Product Notes
The PLD2 pld2 (Catalog #AAA125451) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PLD2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PLD2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (Direct ELISA), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PLD2 pld2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PLD2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
