Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific), Secondary Antibody; Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific), conjugated with FITC; Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) secondary antibody
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Mouse
Clonality
Polyclonal
Specificity
Fluorescein isothiocyanate-conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Mouse IgA Fc specific
Form/Format
FITC-coupled purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2) No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity
Applicable Applications for Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) secondary antibody
IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), ELISA
Source
Pools of purified pools of homogenous IgA isolated from mouse serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure
Reactivity Note
This immunoconjugate is not species-specific since inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antisera to immunoglobulins. Cross-reactivity of this antiSerum has not been tested in detail.
Note
It is reconstituted by adding 1 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20°C
Preparation and Storage
The lyophilized conjugate may be stored at 4°C
Prolonged storage at or below -20°C.
Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperture, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).
Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at 4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day.
If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation.
It will not affect the performance of the immunoconjugate

Related Product Information for Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) secondary antibody
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the Fc subunit of the IgA molecule, which expresses strict (class) specificity. In immmunoelectrophoresis and radial in immunodiffusion using various antiserum concentrations against mouse serum, a single precipitin line has been obtained which shows a reaction of identity with precipitin lines obtained with the purified IgA used a immunogens. It does not react IgG, IgG/Fab fragments and IgM or any non Ig protein in mouse serum, as tested by immuno-electrophoresis nd double radial immunodiffusion. In immunocytochemical and immunohistchemical staining of IgA at the cellular and subcellular level of appropriately treated cell and tissue substrates; to demonstrate circulating IgA antibodies in serotest microbiology and autoimmune diseases; to identify a specific antigen using a reference antibody of mouse origin known to be of IgA isotype in the middle layer of the indirect test procedure. Antisera to IgA do not discriminate between serum IgA (monomeric and dimeric) and higher molecular forms such as secretory IgA. This immunoconjugate is not pre diluted. The optimum working dilution of each conjugate should be established by titration before being used. Excess labelled antibody must be avoided becasue it may cause high unspecfic background staining and interfere with the specific signal

Product Notes
The Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) (Catalog #AAA77568) is a Secondary Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific), conjugated with FITC reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific) for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Rabbit anti Mouse IgA (Fc specific), Polyclonal Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
