Related Product Information for anti-RRP15 antibody
RRP15 (Ribosomal RNA Processing 15 Homolog) is a Protein Coding gene. The RRP15 gene, located on 1q41, is conserved in chimpanzee, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. This gene encodes a protein that co-purifies with human nucleoli. A similar protein in budding yeast is a component of pre-60S ribosomal particles and is required for the early maturation steps of the 60S subunit. RRP15 is localized in the nucleolus and required for nucleolar formation. In contrast to the budding yeast Rrp15p that was reported as a component of pre-60S subunits, RRP15 is found in both pre-40S and pre-60S subunits and is involved in regulating rRNA transcription and ribosome biogenesis. RRP15 is widely expressed in thyroid, fat, and other tissues. Diseases associated with RRP15 include Robinow Syndrome, Autosomal Dominant 1, and Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis.

Product Notes

The RRP15 (Catalog #AAA258697) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RRP15 Antibody, Rabbit PAb, Antigen Affinity Purified reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RRP15 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RRP15 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RRP15, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
