Related Product Information for anti-SLC25A20 antibody
This gene product is one of several closely related mitochondrial-membrane carrier proteins that shuttle substrates between cytosol and the intramitochondrial matrix space. This protein mediates the transport of acylcarnitines into mitochondrial matrix for their oxidation by the mitochondrial fatty acid-oxidation pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with carnitine-acylcarnitine translocase deficiency, which can cause a variety of pathological conditions such as hypoglycemia, cardiac arrest, hepatomegaly, hepatic dysfunction and muscle weakness, and is usually lethal in new born and infants.

Product Notes

The SLC25A20 slc25a20 (Catalog #AAA308102) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SLC25A20 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC25A20 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC25A20 slc25a20 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC25A20, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
