Related Product Information for anti-SOX-6 antibody
SOX6 gene encodes a member of the D subfamily of sex determining region y-related transcription factors that are characterized by a conserved DNA-binding domain termed the high mobility group box and by their ability to bind the minor groove of DNA. SOX6 protein is a transcriptional activator that is specifically expressed in the developing central nervous system and in the early stages of chondrogenesis in mouse embryos. It is found to be essential to both cartilage formation/chondrogenesis and obesity-related insulin resistance. The SOX6 protein is also detected in glioma patient sera and brain tissues.

Product Notes
The SOX-6 sox6 (Catalog #AAA71333) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti SOX-6 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SOX-6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IP (Immunoprecipitation), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SOX-6 sox6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SOX-6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
