Related Product Information for anti-SPDYA antibody
Speedy A, also known as SPDYA, SPDY1, Ringo3 or SPY1, is a 313 amino acid protein that localizes to the nucleus and belongs to the speedy/ringo family. Expressed at high levels in testis and at lower levels in brain, kidney, heart, bone marrow, colon, lung, liver spleen and placenta, Speedy A functions to regulate the G1/S phase transition of the cell cycle, specifically by binding to and activating Cdc2 p34, Cdk2 and p27. Additionally, Speedy A mediates cell survival during DNA damage, suggesting that Speedy A plays a role in proper cell cycle progression throughout the life of the cell. Multiple isoforms of Speedy A exist due to alternative splicing events. The gene encoding Speedy A maps to human chromosome 2, which encodes over 1,400 genes and comprises nearly 8% of the human genome.

Product Notes
The SPDYA spdya (Catalog #AAA305951) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SPDYA antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SPDYA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SPDYA spdya for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SPDYA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
