Related Product Information for anti-SSRP1 antibody
The structure-specific recognition protein SSRP1, initially isolated from expression screening of a human B-cell cDNA library for proteins that bind to cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II))-modified DNA, contains a single DNA-binding high mobility group (HMG) domain. Human SSRP1 purifies as a heterodimer of SSRP1 and Spt16 (FACT) that alleviates the nucleosomal block to transcription elongation by RNAPII in vitro. SSRP1 has been considered as a potential biomarker since the aberrant high expression of SSRP1 has been detected in numerous malignant tumors. SSRP1 is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA damage repair, and cell cycle regulation and has been confirmed to be highly expressed in various tumor tissues, including colorectal cancer. SSRP1 silencing influenced the proliferation and apoptosis of colorectal cancer cells via the AKT signaling pathway.

Product Notes

The SSRP1 (Catalog #AAA256651) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SSRP1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SSRP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SSRP1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SSRP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
