Related Product Information for anti-SSX2 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against SSX2. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.
Target Description: SSX2 belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. These proteins may function as transcriptional repressors. They are also capable of eliciting spontaneously humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients, and are potentially useful targets in cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy. SSX1, SSX2 and SSX4 genes have been involved in the t(X;18) translocation characteristically found in all synovial sarcomas. This translocation results in the fusion of the synovial sarcoma translocation gene on chromosome 18 to one of the SSX genes on chromosome X. The encoded hybrid proteins are probably responsible for transforming activity. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. The product of this gene belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. Product Notes
The SSX2 ssx2 (Catalog #AAA198207) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SSX2 antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SSX2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SSX2 ssx2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: HRWSSQNTHN IGRFSLSTSM GAVHGTPKTI THNRDPKGGN MPGPTDCVRE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SSX2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
