Rabbit
Reactivity
Mouse, Rat
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Specificity
This item recognises human Tumour endothelial marker 7 (TEM7), a 55.8 kDa protein belonging to the plexin family.
TEM7 is strongly expressed in endothelial cells from colorectal cancer and from primary cancers of the lung, liver, brain, breast and pancreas. High expression of TEM7 is associated with metastasis and poor survival of patients with osteogenic sarcoma.
Studies have indicated the existence of least four isoforms of TEM7 which include membrane bound, secreted and intracellular forms.
TEM7 is not detectable in endothelial cells from normal tissues.

Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Product Notes
The TEM7 plxdc1 (Catalog #AAA50076) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RABBIT ANTI TEM7 reacts with Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TEM7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TEM7 plxdc1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TEM7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
