Biological Significance
TNFAIP1 is a human gene. The gene, present in single copy, was located in the 17q22-q23 region. This gene was identified as a gene whose expression can be induced by the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) in umbilical vein endothelial cells. Studies of a similar gene in mouse suggest that the expression of this gene is developmentally regulated in a tissue-specific manner. The protein is involved in the primary response of the endothelium to TNF.
Immunogen
TNFAP1 antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminal of human TNF alphaIP1, identical to the related rat and Rabbit sequence as the immunogen
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for short term storage. For long term storage aliquot and store at -20 degree C, avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Product Notes
The TNFAP1 (Catalog #AAA108320) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TNFAP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFAP1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TNFAP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
