Reconstitution
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Preparation and Storage
At -20 degree C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 degree C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Related Product Information for anti-TGM2 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2(TGM2) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P, ICC in Human, Rat.
Background: Tissue transglutaminase, also called TGC, is a 78-kDa, calcium dependent enzyme of the protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferases family. By fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH), this gene is mapped in 20q11.23. Transglutaminases are enzymes that catalyze the crosslinking of proteins by epsilon-gamma glutamyl lysine isopeptide bonds. While the primary structure of transglutaminases is not conserved, they all have the same amino acid sequence at their active sites and their activity is calcium-dependent. The protein encoded by this gene acts as a monomer, is induced by retinoic acid, and appears to be involved in apoptosis. Finally, the encoded protein is the autoantigen implicated in celiac disease.

Product Notes
The TGM2 tgm2 (Catalog #AAA45434) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Transglutaminase 2 antibody reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Transglutaminase 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGM2 tgm2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transglutaminase 2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
