Related Product Information for anti-XRCC3 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for DNA repair protein XRCC3(XRCC3) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P in Mouse, Rat.
Background: XRCC3(X-RAY REPAIR, COMPLEMENTING DEFECTIVE, IN CHINESE HAMSTER, 3) is a DNA repair protein that in humans, is encoded by the XRCC3 gene. The XRCC3 is a member of the RecA/Rad51-related protein family that participates in homologous recombination to maintain chromosome stability and repair DNA damage. XRCC3 interacts directly with RAD51 and may cooperate with RAD51 during recombinational repair. XRCC3 function is not limited to HR initiation, but extends to later stages in formation and resolution of HR intermediates, possibly by stabilizing heteroduplex DNA. The gene functionally complements Chinese hamster irs1SF, a repair-deficient mutant that exhibits hypersensitivity to a number of different DNA-damaging agents and is chromosomally unstable. A rare microsatellite polymorphism in this gene is associated with cancer in patients of varying radiosensitivity.

Product Notes
The XRCC3 xrcc3 (Catalog #AAA45018) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-XRCC3 antibody reacts with Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's XRCC3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the XRCC3 xrcc3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "XRCC3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
