Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20 degree C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.
Related Product Information for anti-YTHDF1 antibody
YTHDF1 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human samples.
N6-methylated adenine (m6A) is prevalently present in nearly all RNA types and can be found in all organisms from bacteria to humans. It preferentially appears around stop codons and within long internal exons in mammalian messager RNAs. m6A plays an important role in the efficiency of mRNA splicing, processing, translation efficiency, editing and mRNA stability. m6A also takes place in other RNA molecules, such as primary miRNA (pri-miRNAs). YTHDF1 (YT521-B homology domain family 1, also known as C20orf21, DACA-1) is a member of the YTH (YT521-B homology) superfamily containing YTH domain. Human YTH domain family proteins include three members, YTHDF1-3, which mainly localized in the cytoplasm. YTHDF proteins comprise a highly conserved single-stranded RNA-binding domain which specifically recognizes and binds m6A-containing RNAs. A important role of YTHDF1 is regulating mRNA translation efficiency. YTHDF1 promotes ribosome loading to m6A-containing mRNAs and interacts with translation initiation factors eIF3 (EIF3A or EIF3B) to facilitate translation initiation.

Product Notes
The YTHDF1 ythdf1 (Catalog #AAA60354) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The YTHDF1 antibody (pAb) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's YTHDF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IP (Immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the YTHDF1 ythdf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "YTHDF1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
