Related Product Information for anti-ZIP9 antibody
The zinc transporter ZIP9, also known as SLC39A9, is a member of a family of divalent ion transporters. Zinc is an essential ion for cells and plays significant roles in the growth, development, and differentiation. The zinc transporter family is divided into four subfamilies (I, II, LIV-1 and gufA). ZIP9 is a multipass membrane protein that belongs to the ZIP transporter subfamily I. It is located at the trans-Golgi network regardless of zinc presence and is thought to be a zinc homeostasis regulator acting in the secretory pathway without significantly altering cytosolic zinc homeostasis.

Product Notes

The ZIP9 slc39a9 (Catalog #AAA305655) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZIP9 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZIP9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZIP9 slc39a9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZIP9, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
