ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation)

(Chromatin immunoprecipitation was performed with 15 ug of cross-linked chromatin from HeLa cells transfected with a RXRB expression vector containing a single C-terminal DYKDDDDK-Tag, using 3 ug of Rabbit IgG isotype control (AAA28629) and RXRB Rabbit mAb (A25648). The enrichment of immunoprecipitated DNA at different genomic loci was examined by quantitative PCR. The histogram compares the ratio of the immunoprecipitated DNA to the input at given loci.)

Product Notes

The IgG (Catalog #AAA28629) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's IgG isotype control can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200 IF/ICC: 1:50-1:200 IP: 0.5ug-4ug antibody for 200ug-400ug extracts of whole cells FC: 1:50-1:200 ChIP: 3ug antibody for 10ug-15ug of Chromatin. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IgG isotype control, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
