Rabbit eNOS Antibody | anti-eNOS antibody
Rabbit anti eNOS antibody
Reactivity
Human, Rat, Mouse, Dog, Pig, Cow
Applications
Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, ELISA
Purity
The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification.
Synonyms
eNOS; N/A; Rabbit anti eNOS antibody; Rabbit anti-eNOS; Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase (eNOS); Nitric oxide synthase 3 (NOS3); anti-eNOS antibody
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human, Rat, Mouse, Dog, Pig, Cow
Specificity
This antibody only recognizes ~130 kDa of human eNOS. It does not detect human inducible NOS or rat brain NOS. It also reacts with mouse and rat eNOS protein. The other species are not tested.
Purity/Purification
The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification.
Form/Format
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer
Applicable Applications for anti-eNOS antibody
IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA
Antigen Preparation
A synthetic peptide corresponding to the internal sequence (residing in 550-650aa) of human eNOS protein. This sequence is identical among human, rat, mouse, bovine origins.
Positive Control
Placenta
Cellular Location
Cytoplasmic
Preparation and Storage
The antibodies are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. The antibodies can be stored at 2°C - 8°C for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
Related Product Information for anti-eNOS antibody
NOS catalyzes the oxidization of L-arginine to produce L-citrulline and NO. Nitric oxide (NO) is an inorganic, gaseous free radical that carries a variety of messages between cells. Vasorelaxation, neurotransmission and cytotoxicity can all be enhanced through cellular response to NO. NO production is mediated by members of the nitric oxide synthase (NOS) family. There are three types of NOS: two constitutive isoforms, brain or neuronal NOS (b or nNOS, type I) & endothelial cell NOS (eNOS, type III), and one inducible isoform (iNOS, type II). iNOS is found in a variety of cell types including macrophages, hepatocytes, synoviocytes, and smooth muscle cells. Cytokines such as interferon-gamma (IFN), tumor necrosis factor (TNF), interleukin-1 and -2, and lipopolysaccarides (LPS) cause an increase in iNOS mRNA, protein, and activity levels. The phosphorylation of eNOS by Protein kinase C was associated with an increase in NO production.

Product Notes
The eNOS enos (Catalog #AAA71381) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti eNOS antibody reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse, Dog, Pig, Cow and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's eNOS can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the eNOS enos for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "eNOS, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
