anti-Rat CD4 Antibody | anti-CD4 antibody

Anti-CD4 [OX-38]

Gene Names
Cd4; p55; W3/25
Reactivity
Rat
Applications
Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Functional Assay
Purity
Purified. Protein A affinity purified
Synonyms
CD4; N/A; Anti-CD4 [OX-38]; W3/25 antigen; T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4; T-cell surface antigen T4/Leu-3;; anti-CD4 antibody
Ordering
Reactivity
Rat
Isotype
Rabbit IgG kappa

OX-38
Specificity
This antibody binds rat CD4 cell surface antigen. CD4 is a transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on T helper cells, thymocytes, monocytes and macrophages. It plays an important role in the response of T helper cells to antigen. This antibody binds an identical or adjacent epitope to that bound by W3/25 antibody, and competes with mouse anti-rat CD4 antibody W3/25 for binding rat CD4.
Purity/Purification
Purified. Protein A affinity purified
Form/Format
PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Concentration
1mg/ml (varies by lot)
Applicable Applications for anti-CD4 antibody
IP (Immunoprecipitation), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry)
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for up to 3 months. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C.

Product Notes

The CD4 cd4 (Catalog #AAA72342) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD4 [OX-38] reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IP (Immunoprecipitation), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD4 cd4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD4, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
