Reactivity
Rat
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rat LN. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat LN and analogues was observed.
Sequence Length
1111
Samples
Serum, plasma
Assay Type
Competitive
Detection Range
62.5 pg/ml -4000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
The minimum detectable dose of rat LN is typically less than 15.6 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Preparation and Storage
Unopened test kits should be stored at 2 to 8 degree C upon receipt. Please refer to pdf manual for further storage instructions.

Principle of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with LN. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for LN. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated LN and LN in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of LN in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Notes
The Rat LN lamc2 (Catalog #AAA79985) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA79985 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat LN. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Laminin, LN, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
