Solubility

The ED50, as measured by its ability to stimulate proliferation of mouse 3T3 fibroblasts is typically 1 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1,000,000IU/mg.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized Platelet-derived Growth Factor BB although stable at room temperature, should be stored desiccated below -18 degrees. Upon reconstitution PDGF BB should be stored at 4 degrees and for future use below -18 degrees.
