Related Product Information for CDC7/DBF4 active protein
Description: Recombinant full-length human CDC7 and DBF4 proteins were co-expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tags.
Scientific Background: CDC7 is a cell division cycle 7 homolog protein that is critical for the G1/S transition and is also essential for initiation of DNA replication as cell division occurs. CDC7 is expressed in many normal tissues, but the overexpression of CDC7 may be associated with neoplastic transformation for some tumors and transformed cell lines (1). CDC7/DBF4 kinase promotes S phase by alleviating an inhibitory activity in Mcm4 that evolved to integrate several protein kinase (2).

Product Notes
The CDC7/DBF4 cdc7 (Catalog #AAA72963) is an Active Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full Length. AAA Biotech's CDC7/DBF4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC7/DBF4 cdc7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDC7/DBF4, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
