Related Product Information for SULT1A1 recombinant protein
Protein Construction: Recombinant Human Cytosolic Sulfotransferase Family 1A Member 1 is produced by our E Coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Leu295 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
Background: Sulfotransferase 1A1 (SULT1A1) is a cytosolic sulfotransferases that is expressed in the liver, lung, adrenal, brain, platelets, and skin. SULT1A1 is a phenol sulfotransferases with thermostable enzyme activity. SULT1A1 utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the sulfate conjugation of catecholamines, phenolic drugs and neurotransmitters. It is responsible for the sulfonation and activation of minoxidil. SULT1A1 mediates the metabolic activation of carcinogenic N-hydroxyarylamines to DNA binding products and could so participate as modulating factor of cancer risk.

Product Notes
The SULT1A1 sult1a1 (Catalog #AAA22127) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E.coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Met 1-Leu295. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytosolic Sulfotransferase Family 1A Member 1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
