Related Product Information for SUV39H2 recombinant protein
Description: Recombinant full-length human SUV39H2 (KMT1B) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
Scientific Background: Homo sapiens suppressor of variegation 3-9 homolog 2 (SUV39H2) is encoded by the SUV39H2 gene and belongs to the histone-lysine methyltransferase family and Suvar3-9 subfamily, It contains an N-terminal chromodomain and a C-terminal SET domain. It trimethylates lysine 9 of histone H3, creating a binding site for the chromo domain of HP1 for epigenetic transcriptional repression. Deregulation of SUV39H2 interferes with mammalian higher-order chromatin organization.

Product Notes
The SUV39H2 suv39h2 (Catalog #AAA73134) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full length. AAA Biotech's SUV39H2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Methyltransferase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SUV39H2 suv39h2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SUV39H2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
