Applicable Applications for TDG recombinant protein
SDS-PAGE, Denatured
Application Notes
This protein is denatured. Denatured protein is most likely not the best option for functional studies. Denatured protein is better suited for Western Blot (WB) or imaging assays. Applications are user determined.
Tag Information
His-tag
Preparation and Storage
Can be stored at +2°C to +8°C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Related Product Information for TDG recombinant protein
Thymine-DNA glycosylase, also known as TDG, belongs to the TDG/mug DNA glycosylase family. TDG is a nuclear protein which corrects G/T mismatches to G/C pairs by hydrolyzing the carbon-nitrogen bond between the sugar-phosphate backbone of the DNA and the mispaired thymin. TDG can also remove uracil and 5-bromouracil from mispairings with guanine. This enzyme plays a central role in cellular defense against genetic mutation caused by the spontaneous deamination of 5-methylcytosine and cytosine. Recombinant human TDG protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli

Product Notes
The TDG tdg (Catalog #AAA11810) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E. coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's TDG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Denatured. This protein is denatured. Denatured protein is most likely not the best option for functional studies. Denatured protein is better suited for Western Blot (WB) or imaging assays. Applications are user determined. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TDG tdg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TDG, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
