Rat Tissue type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit | tPA elisa kit

Rat Tissue type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit

Gene Names
PLAT; TPA; T-PA
Reactivity
Rat
Synonyms
Tissue type Plasminogen Activator; Rat Tissue type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit; tPA elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Rat
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of tPA. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between tPA and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between tPA and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
Assay Type
Quantitative Sandwich
Samples
Serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Sensitivity
1.0 pg/mL
Intended Uses
This tPA ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Rat tPA. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic applications!
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for tPA elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: tPA ELISA kit applies the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate has been pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for tPA. Standards or samples are then added to the microtiter plate wells and tPA if present, will bind to the antibody pre-coated wells. In order to quantitatively determine the amount of tPA present in the sample, a standardized preparation of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated polyclonal antibody, specific for tPA are added to each well to "sandwich" the tPA immobilized on the plate. The microtiter plate undergoes incubation, and then the wells are thoroughly washed to remove all unbound components. Next, substrate solutions are added to each well. The enzyme (HRP) and substrate are allowed to react over a short incubation period. Only those wells that contain tPA and enzyme-conjugated antibody will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The tPA concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Intended Uses: This tPA ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Rat tPA. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!

Product Notes

The Rat tPA plat (Catalog #AAA16436) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA16436 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat tPA. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tissue type Plasminogen Activator, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
