Related Product Information for anti-ANXA2 antibody
The annexin family of calcium-binding proteins is composed of at least ten mammalian genes and is characterized by a conserved core domain which binds phospholipids in a Ca2+-dependent manner and a unique amino-terminal region which may confer binding specificity. The interaction between these proteins and biological membranes has led to the hypothesis that they are involved in cellular trafficking processes such as endocytosis, exocytosis and cellular adhesion. Annexin I, alternatively referred to as lipocortin, has been implicated as a mediator of the anti-inflammatory response produced by glucocorticoids and as an inhibitor of cPLA2, a potent mediator of inflammation. Annexin II, also called p36, exists as a monomer or as a heterotetramer, complexed with the S-100-related protein p11. This complex is termed calpactin I. In the tetrameric form, Annexin II is an efficient substrate of PKC family and Src pp60.

Product Notes

The ANXA2 anxa2 (Catalog #AAA30350) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Annexin A2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Annexin A2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 ICC:1:100-1:200 FC:1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ANXA2 anxa2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Annexin A2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
