Related Product Information for ACT protein
We are the leading supplier of Alpha-1 Antichymotrypsin (A1AT), Human Serum for research and manufacturing.
Custom preparations, technical support, bulk quantities and aliquoting available.
Human Alpha 1 antichymotrypsin is an alpha globulin glycoprotein and serpin. This Human Glycoprotein is found in alpha(1)-globulin region in human serum. Human Alpha 1-antichymotrypsin (ACT) (Alpha 1-ACT) inhibits chymotrypsin-like proteinases in vivo and has cytotoxic killer-cell activity in vitro and also has a role as an acute-phase protein and is active in the control of immunologic and inflammatory processes, and as a tumor marker. Human ACT is a member of the serpin superfamily.
Human Alpha 1-Antichymotrypsin (Alpha 1-ACT) (ACT)can complex with human PSA to form human PSA-ACT complex which is used as an indicator of tumour mass and clinical stage of prostate cancer.

Product Notes
The ACT serpina3 (Catalog #AAA11468) is a Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alpha-1 Antichymotrypsin, Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
