Related Product Information for ANTXR1 recombinant protein
This gene encodes a type I transmembrane protein and is a tumor-specific endothelial marker that has been implicated in colorectal cancer. The encoded protein has been shown to also be a docking protein or receptor for Bacillus anthracis toxin, the causative agent of the disease, anthrax. The binding of the protective antigen (PA) component, of the tripartite anthrax toxin, to this receptor protein mediates delivery of toxin components to the cytosol of cells. Once inside the cell, the other two components of anthrax toxin, edema factor (EF) and lethal factor (LF) disrupt normal cellular processes. Three alternatively spliced variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described.

Product Notes

The ANTXR1 antxr1 (Catalog #AAA117372) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 33-321. The amino acid sequence is listed below: EDGGPACY GGFDLYFILD KSGSVLHHWN EIYYFVEQLA HKFISPQLRM SFIVFSTRGT TLMKLTEDRE QIRQGLEELQ KVLPGGDTYM HEGFERASEQ IYYENRQGYR TASVIIALTD GELHEDLFFY SEREANRSRD LGAIVYCVGV KDFNETQLAR IADSKDHVFP VNDGFQALQG IIHSILKKSC IEILAAEPST ICAGESFQVV VRGNGFRHAR NVDRVLCSFK INDSVTLNEK PFSVEDTYLL CPAPILKEVG MKAALQVSMN DGLSFISSSV IITTTHCSDG S. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Anthrax toxin receptor 1 (ANTXR1), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
