Related Product Information for CDH10 recombinant protein
Cadherin 10 (CDH10) is a type II cadherin predominantly expressed in the brain, putatively involved in axon outgrowth and guidance. Also known to mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion and maintain the correct balance between excitation and inhibition in neuronal dendrites., CDH 10 has a large N-terminal extracellular domain (containing 5 cadherin motif subdomains which appear to determine the specificity of the protein's homophilic cell adhesion activity), a single membrane-spanning domain, and a small, conserved C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. CDH10 spans 157.7kb on chromosome 5 and produces two transcript variants. Mutations and loss of expression of this protein have been observed in multiple cancer types, including gastric, colorectal, pancreatic, endometrial and lung. Genetic variations nearby the CDH10 genetic region have been associated with autism.

Product Notes

The CDH10 (Catalog #AAA259304) is a Recombinant Protein produced from HEK293 Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Human Cadherin-10/CDH10 Protein (His Tag), HPLC-verified reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Gly55-Ala6 13. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cadherin-10/CDH10, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
