Related Product Information for CLC recombinant protein
Eosinophil lysophospholipase (CLC), also known as Galectin 10, act on biological membranes to regulate the multifunctional lysophospholipids. CLC is a lysophospholipase expressed in eosinophils and basophils. It hydrolyzes lysophosphatidylcholine to glycerophosphocholine and a free fatty acid. This protein may possess carbohydrate or IgE-binding activities. It is both structurally and functionally related to the galectin family of beta-galactoside binding proteins. It may be associated with inflammation and some myeloid leukemias. Recombinant human CLC protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Product Notes

The CLC clc (Catalog #AAA11808) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-142aa with tag His-tag. AAA Biotech's CLC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CLC clc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSLLPVPYTE AASLSTGSTV TIKGRPLACF LNEPYLQVDF HTEMKEESDI VFHFQVCFGR RVVMNSREYG AWKQQVESKN MPFQDGQEFE LSISVLPDKY QVMVNGQSSY TFDHRIKPEA VKMVQVWRDI SLTKFNVSYL KR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CLC, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
