PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for M-CSF has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any M-CSF present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for M-CSF is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of M-CSF bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Notes
The Rat CSF1 csf1 (Catalog #AAA15055) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA15055 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat CSF1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "colony stimulating factor 1 (macrophage), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
