Intended Uses: This immunoassay kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO concentrations in serum, Plasma, tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Product Notes
The Human FTO fto (Catalog #AAA196214) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA196214 ELISA Kit recognizes Human FTO. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase FTO, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
