Background: N-acetyltransferase 10 encoded by NAT10 is an RNA cytidine acetyltransferase involved in histone acetylation, tRNA acetylation, the biosynthesis of 18S rRNA, and the enhancement of nuclear architecture and chromatin organization.
Principle of the Assay: Human N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate NAT10 in samples. An antibody specific for NAT10 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any NAT10 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, HRP-Conjugated Human NAT10 detection antibody is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound HRP reagent, a Chromogen solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of NAT10 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
