Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for TIGIT elisa kit
Description: This Human T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TIGIT in samples. An antibody specific for TIGIT has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any TIGIT present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for TIGIT is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TIGIT bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: TIGIT encodes a member of the PVR (poliovirus receptor) family of immunoglobin proteins. The product of this gene is expressed on several classes of T cells including follicular B helper T cells (TFH). The protein has been shown to bind PVR with high affinity; this binding is thought to assist interactions between TFH and dendritic cells to regulate T cell dependent B cell responses. The predicted 244-amino acid TIGIT protein has a single Ig domain, followed by a type I transmembrane domain and a single intracellular immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif. It shares 88%, 67%, and 58% amino acid identity with its rhesus, dog, and mouse homologs, respectively.

Product Notes

The Human TIGIT tigit (Catalog #AAA331975) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA331975 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TIGIT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "T Cell Immunoreceptor With Ig And ITIM Domains (TIGIT), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
