Related Product Information for COL3A1 native protein
Description:Human Collagen Type III (Human)
Background:Collagen III is a fibrillar collagen that is found in extensible connective tissues such as skin, lung, and the vascular system, frequently in association with type I Collagen. Mutations in the gene are associated with Ehlers Danlos syndrome type IV, and with aortic and arterial aneurysms. Although alternate transcripts have been detected for this gene, they are the result of mutations; these mutations alter splicing, often leading to the exclusion of multiple exons.

Product Notes
The COL3A1 col3a1 (Catalog #AAA267286) is a Native Protein produced from Human placenta and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Collagen Type III, Native Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
