Related Product Information for LATS2 recombinant protein
Recombinant human LATS2 (480-1088) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
Scientific Background: LATS2 is a serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the LATS tumor suppressor family (1). The kinase activity and two conserved domains within LATS2 are responsible for the suppression of tumorigenicity and inhibition of cell growth. LATS2 negatively regulates the cell cycle by controlling G1/S and/or G2/M transition. LATS2 interacts with the centrosomal proteins AURORA A and Ajuba and is required for accumulation of γ-tubulin and spindle formation at the onset of mitosis (2). LATS2 also interacts with a negative regulator of p53 and may function in a positive feedback loop with p53 that responds to cytoskeleton damage. LATS2 can also function as a co-repressor of androgen-responsive gene expression.

Product Notes
The LATS2 lats2 (Catalog #AAA72892) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 480-1088 with tag GST tag!!Expression System||Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus!!Source Note||Recombinant human LATS2 (480-1088) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells. AAA Biotech's LATS2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LATS2 lats2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LATS2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
