Related Product Information for MAST3 recombinant protein
Recombinant human MAST3 (1-723a.a.) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. The gene accession number for MAST3 is NM_015016.
MAST3 belongs to the microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase family, which is characterized by containing a serine/threonine kinase domain and a PDZ domain, and is highly expressed in brain (1). MSAT3 suppresses the degradation and promotes phosphorylation of tumor suppressor PTEN via binding to specific PDZ domains (2). MSAT3 is known to modulate the immune functions in inflammatory bowel diseases via regulating NF-kB, cell adhesion and/or migration and production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (3).

Product Notes
The MAST3 (Catalog #AAA73736) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MAST3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAST3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAST3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
