Related Product Information for anti-ANXA1 antibody
The ANXA1 gene belongs to the annexin family, and contains 4 annexin repeats. A pair of annexin repeats may form one binding site for calcium and a phospholipid. ANXA1 promotes membrane fusion and is involved in exocytosis. The gene for ANXA1 is upregulated in hairy cell leukemia (HCL), and its protein expression is specific for HCL. Detection of ANXA1 provides a simple, highly sensitive and specific assay for identifying HCL. Annexin A1 has also been found to be protective against DNA damage induced by heat in breast cancer cells, suggesting it is involved in tumor suppressive and protective activities, and also is associated with treatment resistance.

Product Notes
The ANXA1 anxa1 (Catalog #AAA215700) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Annexin A1/(Hairy Cell Leukemia Marker) Recombinant Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [Clone rANXA1/6451] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Annexin A1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ANXA1 anxa1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Annexin A1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
