Related Product Information for anti-CD123 antibody
CD123 is alpha chain of the IL-3 receptor. This 60-70 kDa transmembrane protein, by itself, binds to IL-3 with rather low affinity. However, when associated with CD131 (common beta chain), the protein binds to IL-3 with high affinity. The gene coding for the receptor is located in the pseudoautosomal region of the X and Y chromosomes. The receptor belongs to the Type I cytokine-receptor family and is a heterodimer with a unique alpha chain paired with the common beta (beta c or CDw131) subunit. The CD123 receptor, found on pluripotent progenitor cells, induces tyrosine phosphorylation within the cell and promotes proliferation and differentiation within the hematopoietic cell lines. CD123 is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, and megakaryocytes.

Product Notes
The CD123 (Catalog #AAA59178) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD123, IL-3Ra reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD123, IL-3Ra, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
