IgG1
Clone Number
LNK16
Specificity
Mouse anti Human CD16 antibody, clone LNK16 recognizes CD16, a 50-65kDa cell surface molecule which exists in two forms - a transmembranous form expressed by NK cells and some T cells, and a phosphatidylinositol linked form expressed by granulocytes.

CD16 is a low affinity receptor for IgG (FcR III), and is an important receptor mediating ADCC by NK cells. Mouse anti Human CD16 antibody, clone LNK16 has been reported to block the binding of IgG to the CD16 molecule (Tamm and Schmidt 1996).

FC - Suggested Dilution: 1/10 - 1/20
Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or 100ul human whole blood.

Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.

0.09% Sodium Azide
Immunogen
Normal human peripheral blood granulocytes.
Fusion Partners
Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse X63.653 myeloma cell line.
Preparation and Storage
This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.

Product Notes

The CD16 fcgr3b (Catalog #AAA11921) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD16 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). FC - Suggested Dilution: 1/10 - 1/20 Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or 100ul human whole blood. Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD16 fcgr3b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD16, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
